Four reasons you should leave event planning to the experts

Sometimes you’d be forgiven for thinking that you might be able to put on an event in your own business. After all you organise a mean summer barbeque and your wedding went well a few years ago. However, when you need to impress business contacts and attract potential new customers, there’s every chance you’re being judged on your ability to get it right.

And key to creating the perfect event is using a brilliant event planner. There are loads of reasons as to why… so we’ve given you four of the best…

  • Perfect Timing – like cooking a brilliant Sunday dinner, event planning is about the timing. If one element, such as the sound system, doesn’t arrive when its needed this will be the thing all your guests remember. For a smooth and trouble free delivery, get the experts in.
  • It’s a Stress – unless you’re an expert at keeping a whole load of balls in the air and plates spinning, then event management isn’t for you. And that’s just looking after the entertainment. Unless you’re the kind of person who knows how to get everything right on time then you’ll exhaust yourself planning a party.
  • Knowing What Works – sometimes ideas sound better on paper than they do in real life. There’s no substitute for experience as they say, and a proper event planner will know that it’s not a great idea for everyone at a wedding to wear tuxedos or for a free bar to serve shots of tequila.
  • Watch Out for Hidden Extras – all too often there are those crazy little charges that creep in from nowhere if you don’t know what you’re doing. The original quote didn’t include the VAT? Delivery is extra? If you want to make sure your event is on budget then why not pay one cost to someone who knows what they’re doing.
